Welcome!

We are a research group at the Center for Information and Language Processing at Ludwig Maximilian University Munich, under the supervision of Prof. Hinrich Schütze.

We carry out research about linguistically-informed Neural Natural Language Processing. Our aim is to understand how large language models (LLMs) represent linguistic and conceptual information, and how they can acquire and integrate new knowledge over time. We are also committed to developing benchmarks and methods for multilingual evaluation, including low-resource languages. In short, our research goals are reliability, interpretability, and fairness.

You can find resources (data, code, repositories) released by CIS lab members on our GitHub page and HuggingFace page.
